Lubbockites are showing their support of presidential candidates with signs in their front yards, but some are finding their freedom of expression interrupted! Here in the city, both Republican and Democratic party headquarters have been receiving calls about stolen political property.

Lubbock resident Cecilia George says her Obama-Biden sign was in her yard less than 24 hours before it was stolen! Lubbock County Republican Chair Chris Winn tells us that they've had to replace at least 3 of the large McCain "cubes" that were stolen.

Members of both parties say it's disappointing to see Lubbockites being so intolerant of others' political affiliations.

"I was really disgusted because this is a democracy and we have a right to free speech and we have a duty to support our candidates, and it just makes me angry that someone would do something so stupid as to interfere with my ability to support my candidate."

says George.
