A Lubbock mother, who lost 7 of her 9 kids last year because of filthy living conditions, is speaking out tonight. Only weeks before she finds out if she will lose them forever.

27-year-old Gloria Ramirez and her husband 42-year-old Frank Moya are fighting to get their kids back.  Ramirez admits in July of last year.  She was allowing her seven young children to live in a home with rats, feces, and piles of garbage, but a year later, she's taken parenting classes and has a new, clean home.  In two weeks, CPS will recommend to the court that the couple's parental rights be terminated permanently and Ramirez says it's just not fair.

She says, "I believe that I have put forth the effort to bring my babies home and no matter what I've done, nothing, nothing from CPS.  I just want another chance."

CPS says they're recommending that all parental rights be terminated because their year-long investigation reveals that's what's best for the children.  Ramirez and Moya still have criminal charges of endangering a child pending against them in this case.
