Students at Hutchinson Middle School got together Friday afternoon to "Stand Up to Cancer."

Almost 800 gathered on the football field and spelled out S-U-2-C in honor of math teacher Connie Avery who's taught at the school for 28 years and is now battling liver cancer.  Over 750 students bought one dollar tickets to attend the rally.  All of the proceeds from today's rally go to help fund Cancer research.
