TTU Football Bringing More Student Recruits

    With Red Raider football at #6 in the country, it's putting Tech's name on the national stage, and administrators are counting on more applications because of it! Tech is trying to reach the goal of 40,000 students by the year 2020 and administrators think this fantastic football season could help that number! ESPN's College Gameday will be here this weekend, and Chancellor Kent Hance says Tech will get more exposure in one week than it has in years. He thinks that now, more students will be interested in heading to Texas Tech.

    "No question it'll increase our applications, and there will be more kids wanting to go to school here. The more that know about us, the more apt we are to get their applications, and we love this part of it." says Hance.
