The folks with ESPN's College Gameday have started their broadcasts from here in Lubbock.

The first time this show, which has become a part of the college football landscape, has ever originated from the Hub City.  They covered just one other Tech game back in 2005 in Austin against U.T., and Tech lost.  So now it's time to redeem themselves and the fans definitely showed their support today at the shows taping.

"This is great, this is a great opportunity for Tech, get some national exposure, you know, I think we've had a great season so far, it's nice to get recognition for it."

"Words can't even explain how excited I am, I'm stoked for it. I'm ready to get the game started, I'm ready to beat UT, everything, Gameday, all of it."

The show airs Saturday morning from 9 AM-11AM
