A Lubbock business owner makes a bold statement by flying his American flag upside-down. Aqua-Trol owner Steve Lampman inverted his American flag on Wednesday, after Barack Obama became the next president-elect. He believes Obama's policies will be negative not only for his small business, but for the whole country.

Military dad Roy Velez says he feels the flag is inappropriate and should be turned the right way, or removed, but Lampman says the upside down flag is legal.

"I don't believe it's inappropriate. When a country's in dire straits, a country's in dire straits. The country needs help, the country's gonna need a lot of help."

Says Velez, "When you stand for America, you stand for the flag, when you stand for America, you stand for whatever chief and commander that we have, for the president that wins or doesn't win, you stand for America."
