Tailgating with Technology

Raiderville is quickly turning into a tailgate for the ages... the new ages, that is!

Today we went inside the tents to see just how technologically advanced this tailgate is. Nearly every tent has some sort of electronic device attached to it, whether that be the big screen TV complete with video games, or just some heaters for the chilly nights.

Now -- The Jones is not only offering up it's land, it's also the source of all the power.

All these cords either lead up to power outlets on the stadium itself, or at the flag poles at the nearby athletics buildings. And with all of the electronics, you'd think these kids might be concerned about some thievery -- but there's a camaraderie developing out here in Raiderville that's got Red Raider Spirit at it's core.

Tyler Georger, Tailgating with Technology: "We run in shifts, otherwise we just throw it in the tent and lock it up."

Anthony Elam, Tailgating with Technology: "There's an honors system, everyone helps watch your stuff while you're gone, it works."

Those kids also have internet access out there, you can be assured they will be checking those Facebook accounts!
