When you think of Veterans, you typically don't think of college students. But the number of 'Student Veterans' is increasing, prompting the creation of a new Veteran's organization at Texas Tech.

Tech senior and Political Science major, Bryan Wilson, started The Veteran's Association at Texas Tech. Wilson served in Iraq as a Marine, so he knows first hand the struggles these young men and women face when coming home and coming back to school.

"Some of the things you experience or go through there, you really not able to share it with anybody else unless they've really been there or somebody who fully understands what you're talking about and that's kind of the background that set this organization up," Wilson says.

If you are interested in joining this organization or would like more information, you can email Wilson at
bryan.m.wilson@ttu.edu.
