Unemployment Rates: Hurting The Hub?

Unemployment rates are at an all-time high, and claims for the nation's unemployment benefits hit a 7-year peak. More than half a million Americans filed for jobless benefits last week; this comes after a loss of more than 600,000 US jobs, in just the last three months. Lubbock businesses like Tyco Fire Suppression and Building are feeling the pinch of the failing economy. They laid off 62 employees over the last several weeks.
