Updated: November 16, 2008
A Lubbock man is dead tonight, after a house fire in North Lubbock. It happened around 9:30 Sunday morning on the 3000 Block of Erskine Street.
Fire officials say they don't know what started the blaze, but they know it was not set intentionally.  They say a man in his 60's was inside when it started and officials found him dead, after they extinguished the flames.  Neighbors in the area say the man who lived in the house was around 60-years-old, but Sunday night fire officials could not confirm the victim's name.
Fire Marshal Garrett Nelson says they will most likely know the cause of the fire sometime on Monday and we will update as details come in.
