Tonight police need your help catching a man who sexually assaulted a woman inside a bank building downtown.

Police say the suspect in this case is considered armed and dangerous. It appears he picked a woman at random, threatened her with a knife, and attacked in the workplace ... a spot where most women feel they are safe.

It happened around 10:30 Wednesday morning in the basement of this building at 1001 Main street.  Investigators say the victim is a 35-year-old woman, who works in the building, but is not a bank employee.  They say she wasn't feeling well so she headed down to the basement to use the restroom and grab a snack from the machine.  When she stepped off the elevator, a white man approached her, grabbed her arm, and threatened to cut her with his knife, if she didn't cooperate.  Police say that's when the suspect forced her into the women's bathroom and sexually assaulted her.

Police say the victim told them she did not recognize her attacker, but she was able to give a description. Here's who police are looking for ... A white man in his late 20's to early 30's.  He's about 5 foot 10, 175 pounds with an average build.  He has short brown hair and was wearing blue work pants and a gray sweatshirt at the time of the attack.
