Lady Raider's Big 12 Schedule Released

The Big 12 Conference has announced Texas Tech's 2008 women's basketball conference schedule. Texas Tech will open the 16-game conference schedule by hosting Baylor Wed., Jan. 9, and finish with Texas on Wed., March 5, in Austin.

In the month of January, the Lady Raiders will host Baylor (Jan. 9), Texas (Jan. 20) and Colorado (Jan. 26). Tech will play at Missouri (Jan. 12), Kansas State (Jan. 16) and Oklahoma (Jan. 23) in the first month of league play. The Lady Raiders’ open date is Jan. 30.

February games include home contests with Texas A&M (Feb. 2), Oklahoma State (Feb. 14), Kansas (Feb. 20), Nebraska (Feb. 24) and Oklahoma (Feb. 27). Tech will travel to Iowa State (Feb. 6), Baylor (Feb. 9) and Texas A&M (Feb. 17).

Tech’s two games in March are at Oklahoma State (March 1) and at Texas (March 5).

The FSN television package, along with Texas Tech's third-tier package, has not been released. Dates are subject to change due to television coverage.
