A burglar strikes a North Lubbock home and leaves a family 'without' this Christmas.

Delia Berrera says she left her house around noon Wednesday.

When she returned at 6:00 p.m., her house had been burglarized.

Thieves apparently broke in through a back window and they got away with an estimated $10,000 worth of Christmas gifts and household items.

Delia says she had gifts under the tree for her 17 Grandchildren, one Great-Grandchild and her five children.

Two plasma televisions, jewlery and a VCR were also taken from the home.

Delia says she has no idea who would have done this so close to Christmas.

"The stuff that I bought for my Grandchildren, I can't replace it.  We work, we're working people, that's how we do our living so I don't have any way to replace it," she says.

Delia says the only thing thieves didn't take were two new bicycles.
