Recycle Your Christmas Tree

Now that Christmas is over, many folks are wondering what to do with their fresh-cut Christmas trees, so we got some answers for you.
Instead of throwing your tree in the dumpster, the city recommends you recycle it.
There are three Christmas tree drop off sites, 208 Municipal Drive, 1631 84th Street and 2002 Elmwood Avenue.
The sites are open 24 hours a day through January 9th.
"We do ask, however, that you remove all tree stands, all decorations, all plastic. We just want the fresh-cut Christmas tree," Penny Morin with Solid Waste says.
All trees that are dropped off to be recycled will be grinded into mulch.
