Local Business 'Wins' With Texas Tech

By: Allison Morrison
Updated: January 1, 2009

Texas Tech fans won't be the only ones watching the Cotton Bowl Friday, local businesses like Red Raider Outfitters will be too.

Shirts are flying off the shelves at Red Raider Outfitters in anticipation of Tech's Cotton Bowl appearance.

A Red Raider win would likely result in more business at the store, and the folks there are prepared, already creating the t-shirt design proudly displaying a Tech win over Ole Miss.

"With the team doing as well as it has, everybody wants Tech gear, everybody wants that gameday shirt for that next game, where we're going to win and knock the socks off of anybody who tries and they want that shirt to commemorate it," Red Raider Outfitters employee, Casey May says.

If you still need to pick up a Cotton Bowl t-shirt, Red Raider Outfitters will re-open Friday until 1:00 p.m.
