Home For A Hero

Many of our troops fighting overseas return home with serious disabilities and need specially adapted houses. Now you can help build a home for a local hero! Specialist Reas Axtell lost both of his legs when a rocket exploded on his military base in Iraq. When he's released from army housing later this month, he'll need a specially adapted house for his new disability.
The organization Homes for our Troops is set to build the Axtell family a new house in Idalou, but they need your help to do it! Local resident Ron Webb has set up a special raffle to raise money for the effort, "It's going to be great to get this built so that their family can function together in the best situation possible."
