February 3 marks 50 years since Buddy Holly's Death.

In Lubbock, the rock-n-roll legend is being celebrated with a number of events at the Buddy Holly Center.

Some of the exhibits include pictures of Buddy, Ritchie Valenz and the Big Bopper only hours before they took off in the plane that would take them away forever.

Visitors to the Buddy Holly Center are coming from as far away as the UK.
