Just weeks after the devastating fire that destroyed Lockney High School, staff and students are moving forward and making sure their focus is on the future. High school classes are still being held at Lockney's First Baptist Church.

Classes are now running smoothly, after tons of donations from neighboring districts. They've donated everything from books to computers, and the folks at Lockney say they couldn't have done it without the generosity of caring west Texans.

Says senior Segayle Foster, "People from all over the state of Texas, from all over the nation have called me and said 'We're so sorry, is there anything you need?' and it's just crazy how many people are willing to donate something to get us back on our feet." Teacher Lesha Woodard says, "I've almost cried more about that, about all the nice things people have done than the sad things that have happened."
