Sheriff's Deputies are investigating three teens in connection with a petting zoo shooting.
Kenny's Korral owner, Kenny Ellis, says he heard a gun shot Sunday evening.
When he went to investigate, he discovered one of his deer had been shot in the back.
That deer had to be put down.
Right now, officials are holding a 16-year-old on criminal mischief charges, but two other teens could also be held responsible.
Ellis says he's happy that someone was caught, but still has questions.
"Relieved, relieved more than anything. I would still like the question answered as to why do such a dispicable thing," Ellis says.
The Parks and Wildlife Department is also investigating this case.
We're told more charges are likely to follow.
