Cowboys Coping with Injury Concerns

gregellisinjury2007-08-28-1188360907.jpgIRVING, Texas: With the NFL pre-season winding down and the regular season around the corner, the Dallas Cowboys are dealing with a case of the injury bugCowboys starting kicker Martin Grammatica injured his hamstring in the pre-season loss to Houston and is expected to be out for the next 2 weeks.  Also, the big injury story of the off-season continues to unfold as Greg Ellis attempts to return to the field after rupturing his achilles tendon last year.  Ellis hasn't practiced since day 1 of this year's training camp, but head coach Wade Phillips does expect him to be ready by the start of the regular season.  If, however, Ellis is not ready to go, you can expect to see inside linebacker Bobby Carpenter move to outside linebacker until Ellis is able to play.  All the injury news not bad news, the Cowboys do expect to have wide receiver Terry Glenn back at practice this weekend after missing most of the pre-season with a knee injury.
