While Tech administrators continue their contract battle with Mike Leach, Leach's fans rallied for a few hours Tuesday, showing their support for the coach.

The rally was just hours from the 5:00 p.m. deadline Tech gave Leach to accept its latest contract.

Signs and even a few 'Raider Power' chants coming from the Leach supporters.

The coach did appear for a short time, thanking the group but had little else to say.

We talked to students and even a former Red Raider at the rally, who say they want Leach to stay, no matter what the cost.

"I feel very strongly that Tech has an opportunity that could disappear and I don't want to see it happen, I want to see Tech grow," Fred Howell, TTU class of 1962, says.
