Radio Shack Refunds Your DTV Money

By: Amy Montalvo
Updated: February 23, 2009
Days after the DTV switch, converter box purchases are still going strong, and Radio shack is making sure you get your government discount. At the Radio Shack on 50th, manager Al Pollack says there's still a steady stream of people coming in everyday for converter boxes.

Plenty of people are ready to shell out the cash for that converter box. But if you're waiting on your government coupon to come in, Radio Shack says not to worry. They've got a new policy that will get you your box now and your money back later.

Pollack explains, "If you did not get your refund coupon yet from the government, if you come in and buy the box at regular price, when you get that refund coupon, if you bring it into radio shack, we will refund the difference."
