Sheriff's deputies arrested 32-year-old Joseph Bailey on Monday for brining two knives, one of which was a switchblade, to court.

Bailey was in Judge Rusty Ladd's court to face a previous prohibited weapons charge.

According to eyewitnesses, a bailiff saw a utility knife clipped to Bailey's belt and then searched him finding a switchblade in his pocket.

Bailey is now facing the previous prohibited weapons charge and now additional second degree felony charges.

Bailey has no violent offenses in his background.

Switchblades are illegal to own in Texas and all weapons are banned from court houses.
