Fatal Crash Kills 5

Five people were killed aned two are in critical condition after a car accident on FM 2641 and CR 1700 Friday afternoon.

DPS officials say a blue SUV rushed through a stop sign hitting a white sedan carrying six people.

Three of the dead were children.

The names and the ages of the deceased are:
FABIAN SANCHEZ, 8
XAVIER SANCHEZ, 10
ISAAC GUTIERREZ, 7
RITA GUTIERREZ, 24
GUADALUPE SALINAS, 31

DPS and the Lubbock Medical Examiners Office is continuing to investigate the situaiton.

This intersection is known as one of Lubbock County's most deadliest.  Multiple accidents happen at this location every year.
