Arson Suspected in Weekend House Fire

A woman and her two kids are left homeless from a home fire where investigators suspect arson.

The fire began around 8 pm Saturday night at the 200 block of Beech Street.  Paula Robertson and her two kids had just left the home around 7:30 that night...and received a call from their cousin that the home was on fire.  By the time they returned, the home had been taken over with flames.  It started in the far left bedroom and only made it halfway through the house, but smoke damage took over the rest.  Now, Fire Marshal investigators suspect arson in this case and will work with Robertson Monday to find possible witnesses and suspects.  No one was injured in the fire.
