AT&T union workers are preparing for the possibility of a strike.
In fact, local AT&T union employees took to the streets Thursday afternoon, to talk about thier issues with management.
The strike could involve more than 100,000 AT&T union workers.
Five of the regional union contracts are set to expire at 11:59 PM Saturday and a new agreement has yet to be reached.
The main issue: how much the workers pay each year in health care premiums.
"AT&T made $12.9 billion in profits last year, paid it's top executives $33.5 million in 2008 and paid $9.8 billion in dividends to investors, so if it can take care of it's executives and investors, it can look out for who creates these profits, it's employees," President of Local 6203, David Patton says.
The last time this group of contracts was up for negotiations was five years ago and that ended in a four-day strike.
