Man Shoots Dogs for Attacking his Goat

Two dogs and one goat are dead, after the dogs attacked the goat Saturday evening.
Dale Bohannon has more than 20 goats out on134th Street and I-27. He says Saturday, his neighbor's dogs were viciously attacking his pregnant goat, so he told his son to shoot the dogs with a shotgun. Two of the three dogs involved died, and the goat died hours later.
"If a dog will get over and kill livestock, it's not safe for them to let their kids out because they'll kill a kid too if they get a chance."
Sheriff's Deputies were called out to resolve the dispute among the neighbors. Bohannon says he is asking the dog owner to pay him for the goat. She says she'll gladly write a check.
