A ministry in Shallowater is putting their building back together after yesterday's winds did some serious damage.

AFM Ministries says Thursday around noon, high winds tore the tin right off the roof, leaving sheets of metal resting in the courtyard.  Howard Huntzinger with AFM ministries says the winds were reaching up to more than 60 miles an hour, enough to lift the roof and it's eaves right off.  He says they usually have retreat groups here every other weekend, but happened to be off this time.  He and his wife heard all the destruction.

They started repairing the holes in the roof early Friday morning trying to beat any possibility of thunderstorms.
