The hail certainly took its toll last night, leaving damaged cars and roofs all across the South Plains. American Roofing employees have been hard at work, after their office was flooded with calls. They've run into both minor and severe roof damage, and tell us some of the roofs will be deemed "totaled" by insurance companies.

AS Dent Shop's lot is full of cars with hail damage. From dented hoods to cracked windshields, they say they'll be busy making repairs for a long time.

Owner Allen Scott explains, "This will last for quite a while, I'll be busy for a long time. My life as I know it has ended, it's all about work now." Roofer Mike Parsley says, "Storms like this...we'll be out here looking at roofs for the next 6 months to a year, probably."
