With all the hype over swine flu, perhaps we should ask the question, are we overreacting and is the government and the media blowing the swine flu out of proportion?

You see the reports- France wanting all of Europe to ban flights from Mexico, Egypt ordering every pig in the country to be slaughtered and here in Texas, schools shutting down.

So here's some facts: Since January, more than 13,000 people in the U.S. have died from seasonal flu alone and deaths from swine flu in the U.S., only one.

T.J. Jones with Premier Health Clinic says it's too soon to tell if we're overreacting.

"I think you should be optimistically cautious," Jones says.

As of Thursday, still no cases of swine flu reported in Lubbock.
