Monday afternoon, Lubbock Police find a man shot and stabbed in his home, but no suspects have been named.
EMS was called out to 3208 67th Street just after 4 o'clock Monday afternoon. When they arrived, officials say they found 49-year-old Lee Beck shot, bleeding, and unresponsive.
Capt. Greg Stevens, LPD:
"They did realize he suffered a gunshot wound, at least one. Also appears to have suffered, perhaps stab wounds, he does have lacerations now to what degree those if they're full stab wounds or not that's something they're still looking into."
Captain Stevens with LPD says Beck died when he was transported to the hospital, but they don't know which of his wounds were fatal. Stevens says several people were taken to the police station to give statements, but no suspects have been named. In fact, they still haven't ruled out suicide.
"Nobody is in custody, no person of interest or suspect, it's way too early in the investigation to identify this as a homicide, a suicide, as anything like that but very clearly it is a case they will work as a homicide."
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
