Second Landis Test For Testosterone Is Positive

(Paris) -- The "B" sample turned in by Tour de France winner Floyd Landis has tested positive for excessive levels testosterone. The BBC reports the analysis of Landis` "B" sample took place at a French laboratory in the presence of his Spanish attorney and experts from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency and the International Cycling Union. The UCI issued a statement indicating it will request that the USA Cycling Federation open a disciplinary procedure against Landis. It could cost Landis his title and lead to a two-year ban.
