Police are also still on the lookout for a driver involved in a hit and run last week.
Last Thursday around 4 o'clock in the afternoon, police were called out to an accident involving an injured bicyclist. Tech student Bryce Fluker and his friend Ivan Salazar say they were riding south at the intersection at Quaker and the North Loop. They say an impatient truck behind them cut around them, hitting Fluker's front tire. Fluker fell off the bike, skinning four layers of skin off his leg. His friend Salazar says as he helped Flukker up, the truck sped off.
"Right away I got up and I didn't get to see the license plate because I still had to get to the side and I wanted to make sure there was no car coming directly to Bryce to hit him so I was not able to get the license plate. The main thing I was able to get was that Longhorn sticker.
Salazar describes the truck as a 1999 or 2000 white Ford F-150 with a large Longhorn sticker across the back windshield. If you know anything about this incident, call the Crimeline at 741-1000.
