People in the Hub City will have to wait awhile before they can buy packaged alcohol within the city limits.
Today in Texas State Court, lawyers for the Strip and the City of Lubbock agreed to extend the restraining order on liquor licenses for 90 days.
Both parties said the decision was made to give more time for negotiations over zoning laws.
Owners of the Strip said the City of Lubbock's zoning laws favor some businesses and not others.
Lawyer from both parties say negotiations have been moving in a positive direction, but it may still take several months before Lubbock residents can buy a 6-pack at a store.
