The stretch of road on FM 2641 has become very dangerous.  Tuesday's accident raises the death toll on that road to 10 people this year alone.

In January, two people were killed on 2641, one of them a Frenship High School student.  Then on March 6th, a family of five is killed at 2641 and FM 1700 after officials say the other driver ran a stop sign.  That driver later died from her injuries, making six deaths in just one crash.  Two weeks later on March 24th, another driver ran a stop sign at 2641 and FM 179, crashing into an SUV and killing a 58-year-old man.  Neighbors like Leah Burgett on 2641 say something has got to change.

"I'll be surprised if this accident did not make them consider putting a four way stop here.  With there being an officer involved in the accident, I'm sure there will be.  It's just a sad situation that how many people have to die or get seriously injured to make them do that."

Burgett says this is the third accident she's seen at FM 2641 and FM 1500 in just the two years she's lived there.
