Swine Flu Precautions at Schools

Now that Lubbock has its first confirmed case of swine flu, Lubbock schools are doubling up on cleaning and health procedures.

LISD officials say they're continuing to emphasize hand washing and more hand sanitizer is being delivered to classrooms.

The only case in Lubbock has been a child that is not yet of school age, but school officials say they are staying vigilant and school nurses are monitoring students and faculty closely.
