School's out and it's around this time that the number of Tech students dwindles in town. While retail and food businesses don't necessarily suffer, there are some establishments that do slow down when Tech students leave. Bars, clubs and rental real estate seem to take the biggest hit.
John Roark, manager of Crickets says, "It is slower, but it's not nearly the drop that it use to be. It seems like the kids, in order to get out in four years, are going year around now."
