More Delays in Shelter Suit

The first court hearing over the location of the new Lubbock Animal Shelter took place this morning.

However, attorneys from both sides of the argument were not as prepared as Judge Rueben Reys would have liked.

Reyes ordered both the city and the attorney for the citizens against placing the new shleterin MacKenzie Park to come back  in 30 days afer reviewing several Texas Supreme Court cases.

The lawyers will meet with Reyes again on July 14.

No legal action was taken on the issue today because of the situation.
