Members of the Lubbock Soccer Association are working to build support for new soccer fields. New fields were originally part of a bond proposal two years ago, but the soccer fields were eventually dropped, and that money was used for softball fields instead. Now the city is working on a new bond proposal and LSA wants to make sure their project is a priority. The group's president Billy Babcock says, the new fields have the potential to not only save money, but generate new money for the city.
