Charges will not be filed against four people police believe killed a Lubbock man in a fight last month. Twenty-two year-old Juan 'Mike' DeLeon died in May from injuries he suffered during a fight outside his home in the 1900 block of 22nd Street. Monday, a grand jury decided there was not enough evidence to charge the four men with manslaughter. DeLeon's family believes justice just wasn't served.
"It's effected us horribly and today's just a nightmare man, it's a nightmare, because you're thinking okay someone's going to pay, but no, what's going to happen now," says DeLeon's sister Angelica Gutierrez.
Investigators are willing to re-open the case if new evidence is brought to authorities.
