The Lubbock Fire Marshal's office is looking for a person of interest in an arson early Tuesday morning.

The fire started around 3:30 Tuesday morning at the Boardwalk Apartments located at 5540 19th Street.

Firefighters rushed to put the fire out in the unoccupied second story unit.

Several residents had to be evacuated, but no injuries have been reported.

Authorities suspected arson from the start, and folks living there agree.

"I heard glass break. I don't know, I didn't see people, but I think somebody set it on fire. I really, seriously think someone had something to do with it," Boardwalk resident, Danielle Huebner says.

The Fire Marshal's office is looking for Rick Schultz.

He is a 44-year-old white male, who's 5'7" and about 145 pounds with tattoos on his arms and legs.

If you know where he might be, you're asked to call Capt. Hamilton at 775-2646.
