Guns in Church

Guns and churches don't generally go together, but that wasn't the case at a Kentucky church this weekend.
The pastor invited members of his congregation to bring their unloaded hand guns to church for what he called an open carry service.
Here in texas, gun laws are some of the most liberal in the nation.
So how would local pastors feel about packing and praying here in lubbock?
Pastor Brad Jurkovich at Victory Life Baptist Church says, it's not ideal, but it might be necessary.
"In the day in which we live do you want everybody to love each other? Absolutely. As a pastor you want people to love each other and take care of one another. We live in a world where people don't always choose that path," Jurkovich said.
According to texas state law, it is illegal for licensees to carry a concealed handgun into a church as long as the church posts signs to that effect.
