Former Texas Tech quarterback Chris Todd has found a new home to continue his college football career. Todd telling KAMC 28 on Monday he plans to enroll at Hutchinson Community College in Hutchinson, Kansas. "It`s a lot closer to home, " said Todd. "I looked at some schools out in California but its just so far away. It was going to be a tough situation, so the one in Kansas seemed like the best fit." Hutchinson was 0-9 last season but recently hired a new head coach, who is expected to implement a pro-style offense. "It seemed like a good situation. They have a new coaching staff coming in, but thing is with junior colleges you are basically reloading every year. They`ve done some good things in the past." As Graham Harrell`s backup, Todd went 25-for-35 passing for 241 yards and a touchdown with no interceptions in five games in 2006.
