Lubbock Police have uncovered an extensive burglary ring that spanned across state lines.
Warrants were issued Tuesday for six people involved in the burglaries.
Misty Miller, Marcus Smith, Latasha Harrison, Kedrick Steward, Carl Steward and Dannie Mitchell are each facing first degree organized crime charges.
According to court documents, the group was involved in over a dozen burglaries, including several in the Plainview, Midland and Lubbock areas.
Those same documents also indicate multiple burglaries done by members of the group in Colorado.
Police reports state the burglaries started back in January.
Some of the local businesses targeted were Furr's Restaurant, Check N Go, Pronto Mart and the Field of Dreams.
An employee at the Field of Dreams tells us they got away with an estimated $7,000 in cash and other mechandise, but he credit's the shop's security cameras for helping break the case.
"They cut all our cameras, our microphones, things of that nature, but what they didn't know is we had backup wireless, so that was one of the reasons why we were able to catch them so fast," Field of Dreams', John Chambers says.
