Overnight Stabbing Kills One in East Lubbock

One man is dead after a fight in a club parking lot turns violent overnight.

Police tell us just before 2 o-clock this morning, two men got into a fight at the Boss Office Bar on east 34th street. They took it outside to the parking lot, that's when the suspect stabbed 26-year-old Christopher Eric Perez several times. Perez was taken to Grace Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after arriving.

Police are now looking for the suspect, he's described as a hispanic male, about 5 foot 7, and 180 pounds. Last seen wearing a white baseball cap, white t-shirt, and blue jeans.

Lt. Neal Barron says the suspect left in a white Ford F150 extended cab, long bed model, with a tool box in the bed. Barron says the model is either an '83 or '85.
