Folks in Snyder are mourning the deaths of twin, 7-year-old boys.
The two drowned during a family visit to Lake J.B. Thomas Sunday.
According to reports, the boys were swimming just south of the public boat ramp before their father lost sight of them.
Ryan and Justin Dillard were found almost two hours after their father reported them missing Sunday afternoon.
Their bodies were discovered in about six to eight feet of water close to the shore.
Reports indicate the boys' father only lost sight of his children for a few minutes before they disappeared.
"They had loud music, they were sitting on the back of their tailgate. The subject that was with the father said the music was loud enough that they wouldn't have been able to hear them screaming. Both children weren't wearing life jackets and it was reported to us that neither of the boys was a very strong swimmer," Capt. Bill Jones with Texas Parks and Wildlife says.
Funeral services for the brothers are scheduled for this week in Snyder.
