A local pool hall was the scene of a potentially fatal hit and run early Tuesday morning.

It happened in the parking lot at Speeds Billiards on 19th Street, just before 3:00 Tuesday morning.

Police say 53-year-old Dennis Northcutt got into an argument with 21-year-old Adrian Rodriguez and 31-year-old Lionel Lucero.

It's believed the argument started over a t-shirt one of the men was wearing.

Lucero and Rodriguez then got in their car and drove into Northcutt, who was thrown on to the hood of the car and then to the ground.

Lucero and Rodriguez then ran over Northcutt's chest and head.

Northcutt was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries.

Lucero and Rodriguez were later found and arrested.

They're charged with aggravated assault.
