Tech Games in Midland College Classic Pushed Back

(Texas Tech Release) LUBBOCK, Texas - Due to inclement weather and a team dropping out of the Midland College Classic, the Midland Rockhounds announced changes to the upcoming weekend schedule that will affect all three teams remaining in the tournament.
The Third Annual Midland College Classic was set to get underway on Thursday afternoon, Feb. 15, but due to cold weather that has set in across the state the tournament has been postponed until Friday. Eastern Michigan, a member of the Mid-American Conference, has also withdrawn from the tournament leaving only three teams; Texas Tech, St. John`s and Dallas Baptist.
The following is a complete schedule for all games at this weekend`s tournament at Citibank Ballpark:
Friday, Feb. 16
Texas Tech vs. Dallas Baptist, 6 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 17
St. John`s vs. Dallas Baptist, 11 a.m.
Texas Tech vs. St. John`s, 5 p.m.
Sunday, Feb. 18
Texas Tech vs. St. John`s, 2 p.m.
Tickets for all four games of the tournament can be purchased at the Citibank Ballpark Box Office approximately 90 minutes prior to first pitch.
