Texas Tech fans have one more way to show school spirit this fall - by taking a trip through the South Plains' newest corn maize. The owners of At'l Do Farms, James and Patti Simpson, carved out Raider Red in their corn field this year. This is the ninth year they've created a maze - but the first to feature this Texas Tech mascot. The Simpsons wanted to commemorate Tech's record setting season.

"Last year our attendance was down a little bit, but a lot of it was because of the football games where we were competing. Especially in October, there was a lot of home games. So we were competing with Tech. So it's just one of those deals where it's if we can't beat them, let's join them," says James Simpson.

The Raider Red maze will be ready to explore September 12th.
