The brother of the man who died at the Lubbock State School in June is speaking out and hoping authorities will prosecute those involved in Micahel Nicholson's death.
The Lubbock County Medical Examiner has officially ruled Nicholson's death a homicide.
His cause of death is listed as asphyxia.
David Nicholson believes his brother was intentionally killed by at least one employee at the Lubbock State School and now he wants justice for his brother.
"The employee lost his temper. I believe he got fed up. He made several statements that he was not going to put up with this nonsense and that he was going to deal with it and about at least six or seven times, he did assault my brother in his own bedroom until finally he killed him," David Nicholson says.
Lubbock Police presented a manslaughter case to the District Attorney's office.
No word on whether charges will be filed in this homicide case.
